A job shadow experience gives students and/or
adults considering changing careers a meaningful introduction
to the world of healthcare. It helps the participant identify
career interests and gives them an awareness of the academic,
technical and personal skills required by particular jobs
in the healthcare environment. The primary objective is
to have the participant observe the knowledge and skills
used every day on the job.

The Valley Hospital and Medical Center Auxiliary gift
shops offer a wide selection of gifts, jewelry, flowers,
cards, toys, baby items, candy, magazines and sundries.
Customized gift baskets are also available. Phone orders
are welcome and can be delivered throughout the hospital
during normal business hours. For your convenience we
accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
Proceeds from the gift shop benefit service areas throughout
the hospital.
