| It's not
every day you can help save a life. But almost every
day. |

You can help Deaconess Medical Center
and Valley Hospital provide the best care possible. Care
that is above and beyond. The kind you would want
for your family.
Access to healthcare, both preventive and restorative,
is essential to all people. But, hospitals everywhere
are struggling to maintain their financial health while
reimbursement from federal sources such as Medicare and
Medicaid shrink below the cost of care.
Help us provide that special care to make sure that
our littlest babies have the best equipment available
and care provided by specially trained nurses. Make
sure that our older patients have free testing to recognize
osteoporosis before it cripples them.
There are many ways to give. If you want
to make a difference, consider The Foundation for Deaconess
and Valley Healthcare. Here are a few of our 2005
funded projects.
- State-of-the-art nuclear medicine Gamma Camera,
reducing exam time by up to 50 percent
- Complete renovation of Valley OB
- Free osteoporosis screening and education
- New monitors for free blood pressure checks
- Infant warmer
- Cardiovascular patient equipment—what would you
expect from a Top 100 Heart Hospital?
- Specialized blood pressure cuffs
- Ophthalmoscope/otoscope for checking eyes and ears
- Scholarships for education in the healthcare field—training
tomorrow’s caregivers
